This document is one out of a suite of three stakeholder specific guidance documents on the safety assurance of trials. This document is aimed at insurers involved in testing and trialling connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) within the UK. The other two documents are aimed at local authorities and trialling organisations. These documents have been developed by TRL as a key output from our work on CAV safety assurance within Project Endeavour.
