Health and wellbeing should be top of the list for transport planners, according to the latest research from global transport consultancy TRL. The latest Quarterly Research Review (QRR) from the renowned organisation focuses on topics such as air quality, electric bikes schemes, mental health and ageing drivers.

Respected experts will be on hand at TRL’s annual, invitation-only Symposium on Thursday, 16th November, to discuss the key topics, offer their views and debate the direction in which the transport sector should be moving.

Richard Cuerden, the TRL Academy Director, commented: “Getting the leading experts in the area of healthy mobility together in one room, presents a fantastic opportunity to share the latest insight, findings and knowledge.

“With transport evolving, it’s vital that we don’t lose sight of the implications it can have on the health of the population, and strive to create a network that encourages healthy mobility.”

The exciting topics that will be discussed at the symposium can be read about in more detail in the latest TRL Quarterly Research Review, which can be viewed here.
