Development and Pilot of a Business Travel Focused Intervention Addressing Close Following Driving Behaviour

TRL, through funding from the Road Safety Trust, has undertaken research to test the effectiveness of a driver behaviour intervention aimed at reducing close following behaviour (CFB). This research  consisted of a literature review into the key factors underpinning close following behaviour, hotspot areas for accidents, and effective components of interventions shown to change other driver behaviours.
